The Historic Athens Holiday Gala is back for 2024! For over 40 years, our organization's annual holiday party has been a fixture on the Athens event calendar. This year, we've pulled out all the stops to give our guests the experience of a lifetime.
The Main Event
Tour tickets include entry to beautiful historic homes, food, and drinks curated by the experts at Epting Events, a silent auction, and special programming designed to tell the story of Cobbham, Athens’ oldest suburb.
This year’s tour also includes special add-on experiences, such as a limited-entry VIP party and special spirits tasting. Plus: every ticket purchased supports our mission to celebrate and conserve the community heritage of Athens, Georgia.

VIP Reception
VIPs will enjoy a private party from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM with hors d'oeuvres and aperitifs before the tours of the historic Cobbham homes. An extremely limited number of VIP tickets are available.
High West Whiskey Tasting
Join us for a curated, bespoke tasting. You’ll learn the unique history behind the distillery, as well as detailed information on each spirit. Instructions will be provided to help guests appreciate the nuances and practices behind spirits tasting. $50 per person. Limited, time-option tickets will be available while supplies last.
