The team at Historic Athens is fortunate to call the Old Fire Hall No. 2 their home. Walking into a beautiful, brick fire hall nestled in Athens' historic Cobbham neighborhood makes work feel like, well, not so much like work. 

The Old Fire Hall No. 2, built in 1901, is a restored Victorian Romanesque flatiron building with a spacious and unique ground level. The former fire engine garage has been developed into a meeting and events facility. This versatile venue is ideal for business meetingspop-up events and marketsexhibitionscommunity eventsintimate concerts, and private receptions, such as birthday parties, bridal showers, or weddings. The events space is equipped with a small kitchenette and has a 75 person capacity.

We invite you to take advantage of this charming site located on the intersection of Prince Avenue and Hill Street, adjacent to Downtown Athens. For members and non-members alike, our rental prices are competitive and affordable.

      • 1 stationary 10-foot table

      • 1 8-foot folding table

      • 5 6-foot folding tables

      • 51 chairs

    • Kitchen: Refrigerator and sink.

    • Bathroom: Single bathroom with toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap.

    • Cleaning Supplies: Vacuum, broom, and basic cleaning supplies.

    Dimensions

    • Maximum Occupancy: 75 people.

    • Space: Large open gallery space with attached kitchenette and bathroom.

    • Mon – Thurs: $170

    • Fri – Sun: $225

    Non-Profit Meetings/Education Events

    • Mon – Thurs: $125

    • Fri – Sun: $170

    Weekly rates & member rates available upon request.

    • Fill out the Fire Hall Gallery Rental Interest Form and submit it to denise@historicathens.com, including desired rental dates and event type.

    • Upon approval, Historic Athens will schedule a walkthrough of the space.

    • Receive and sign contract.

    • Provide a security deposit check, which will be voided if no damage is found and all guidelines are followed.

    • Rental fees are due 24 hours prior to rental time.
